ChessToEarn operates a skill-based chess game distributed as a Telegram Mini App. This policy explains what personal data we process and why.

Telegram account data: your Telegram user ID, first and last name, username and profile photo, as provided by Telegram when you open the Mini App.

Gameplay data: matches played, moves, timings, results, stakes and outcomes.

Financial data: deposit and withdrawal amounts, blockchain addresses and transaction hashes, and your in-app balance.

Technical data: basic request logs used for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.

We do not collect your Telegram phone number, contacts, or message history, and we never ask for your wallet seed phrase or private keys.

3. How We Use Your Data

To operate the game, match you with opponents, run the clock and settle results.

To process deposits and withdrawals and maintain an accurate balance ledger.

To run fair-play and anti-fraud monitoring, including analysis of gameplay patterns.

To comply with legal obligations and to enforce our Terms & Conditions.

4. Legal Basis

We process data to perform our contract with you (providing the game), to meet legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in security, fraud prevention and service improvement.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

We share limited data with infrastructure providers strictly to run the service (for example, database hosting and blockchain node providers).

Blockchain transactions are recorded on a public ledger and are visible to anyone. Your in-app identity is not published on-chain by us, but on-chain activity is inherently public.

We may disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights and users.

6. Retention

We retain account, transaction and gameplay records for as long as your account is active and thereafter as required for legal, accounting, security and dispute-resolution purposes.

7. Security

Wallet credentials held by the platform are stored encrypted, and access is restricted.

No system is perfectly secure. Please protect your own Telegram account, as access to it grants access to your ChessToEarn account.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

Some data must be retained for legal and anti-fraud reasons even after account closure.

9. Children

The service is strictly for users aged 18 or over (or the legal age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly process data of minors, and any such account will be closed.
